PURPOSE: An air valve for a fluid release valve is provided to prevent fluid from a pipe from becoming externally discharged by high pressure. CONSTITUTION: An air valve for a fluid release valve comprises a body(10), a floating guide(20), a first cover(30), a floating ball(40), a guide bar(50), a second cover(60) and a sliding guide unit(7). A through-hole(12) and a flange(11) are formed on one end of the body and the upper part of the body is formed in an "U" shape. A busing hole(22) is formed on the lower part of the floating guide unit. The first cover comprises a penetrating hole(31) for externally discharging the air from the body. A valve seat(32) is formed on the lower end of the penetrating hole. The floating ball is upwardly slid by pressure and opens/closes the penetrating hole of the first cover. A guide rod supports the floating balls so that they are slid upwardly and downwardly.
