PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof housing having simple constitution where the operation ring of a lens barrel can be surely operated. SOLUTION: The waterproof housing is equipped with the cylinder part 7 of a lens barrel housing part where a through-hole 7b in a peripheral direction is formed at a position corresponding to the zoom ring 33 of a camera, the operation ring 41 disposed turnably on the outer periphery of the cylinder part 7, a press-contact pin 45 and an abutting rubber 51 disposed to pass through the through-hole 7b and capable of taking a press-contact position and a separation position with respect to the zoom ring 33, O-rings 42 and 43 keeping space between the cylinder part 7 and the operation ring 41 watertightly, an O-ring 47 keeping space between the press-contact pin 45 and the operation ring 41 watertightly, a coil spring 49 energizing the press-contact pin 45 in a direction where it abuts on the zoom ring 33, and a positioning pin 46 and a positioning pin fitting notch 41d for changing the press-contact pin 45 to the press-contact position and the separation position.
