WAVE POWER GENERATION SYSTEM AS A FLOATING WATER BREAK

PURPOSE: A wave power generating system with a floating breakwater function is provided to enable the potential energy of wave to be effectively converted into mechanical energy since the potential energy of the wave is collected in a water tank without loss. CONSTITUTION: A wave power generating system with a floating breakwater function comprises a water tank(10), a deflection plate(20), a protective window frame(30), an inlet platform(40), a guide plate(50), a check valve plate(60), a water turbine(70), an automatic ballast controller, a speed vector controller and an outer plate(90). The water tank preserves the kinetic energy of wave in the state of rotating movement. The deflection plate makes the wave advance toward the water tank. The inlet platform selectively draws only the upper part of the wave. The guide plate guides the moving direction of the wave to tangent line of the water tank. The check valve plate blocks the water from the water tank from flowing backward.
