摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reforming apparatus for a fuel cell, capable of aiming at shortening the start-up time, reducing fuel gas formation cost and improving a response property with respect to electrical load fluctuations. SOLUTION: In the reforming apparatus, which is installed with a combustion part 4 to burn a discharged fuel gas from a fuel cell G and a reform-treatment part 3 to reform-treat a raw material fuel with a combustion heat produced by burning of the discharged fuel gas in the combustion part 4 and which is constituted, so that a raw material fuel feed amount to the reform-treatment part 3 is regulated by an amount, according to the electrical load of the fuel cell G and also so that a combustion air feed amount to the combustion part 4 is regulated in order for a reform-treatment temperature in the reform- treatment part 3 to reach a targeted temperature, the combustion part 4 is equipped with and constituted of a combustion part 4F to cause the discharged fuel gas to burn in a state of forming flame and causes a catalytic combustion part 4c located to the combustion part 4F on the lower side of a flame-forming direction of the combustion part 4F to burn the discharged fuel gas left unburned in the flaming combustion part 4F with a combustion catalyst.
