PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can effectively prevent occurrence of dew condensation in one-side printing.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a fixing device 5 for thermally fixing a toner image; an ejection roller 73 for ejecting a recording sheet, after thermally fixing the toner image, out of the image forming apparatus in one-side printing; an invert roller 71 for switching the conveyance direction of a recording sheet thermally fixed only on one side in double-side printing; and a switching guide member 74 disposed, on downstream side of the fixing device, on upstream side of the ejection roller 73 and the invert roller 71, and by change of a position, guiding a recording sheet conveyed from the fixing device 5 and a current of heat generated from the fixing device 5 into a direction either an ejection roller direction or an invert roller direction. When controlling the position of the switching guide member 74, the image forming apparatus performs the position-control of the switching guide member 74 so that the current of heat is guided in the direction of the invert roller for a predetermined time, after the one-side printing is finished. |
