PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism which stably detects liquid leakage and is less affected by an external environment such as the atmospheric pressure.SOLUTION: A liquid jet device includes: a head 90 configured to jet an ink; an ink cartridge 120 for storing the ink; a non-return valve 150 provided at a second pipeline 131b between the head 90 and the ink cartridge 120 and configured to inhibit flow of the ink from the head 90 to the ink cartridge 120; an ink storage part 140 provided in a pipeline 130 between the non-return valve 150 and the head 90 and configured to store the ink; a spring 160 which presses the ink storage part 140; and a detection part 170 which detects displacement of the ink storage part 140. The ink jet device detects a leaked liquid by displacement of the ink storage part 140.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
