PURPOSE: A composition containing 3', 4',7,8-tetrahydroxyflavanone-7-O-glucoside for anti-aging is provided to suppress MMP-9(Matrix Metalloproteinase-9) and to prevent and treat aging. CONSTITUTION: A 3', 4',7,8-tetrahydroxyflavanone-7-O-glucoside is denoted by chemical formula 1. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating aging or wrinkle contains 3', 4',7,8-tetrahydroxyflavanone-7-O-glucoside or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. A cosmetic composition for anti-aging or anti-wrinkling contains 4',7,8-tetrahydroxyflavanone-7-O-glucoside or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The cosmetic composition is used in the form of lotion, essence, cream, pack, gel, ointment, or spray.
