PURPOSE: A braking control method of an electric parking brake system is provided to estimate a braking force of an electronic parking brake system by using the number of rotation of a motor, thereby effectively controlling an electronic parking brake system. CONSTITUTION: A braking force control method of an electronic parking brake system measures the number of rotation of a motor(1) driving for operation and cancelation of an electronic parking brake system. The braking force of an electronic parking brake system is estimated by using the number of the measured motor. The electronic parking braking system is controlled by using the barking force of the measured electronic braking system. Controlling the electronic parking system includes detection of the braking force of the electronic parking braked system. The power, which is supplied to the motor before the braking force of the detected electronic parking brake system arrives, is blocked.
