BRAKING FORCE CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking force control device generating no unnecessary braking force. SOLUTION: This braking force control device has: an accelerator pedal stroke sensor (accelerator pedal operation amount detection means) for detecting accelerator pedal operation amount and accelerator pedal operation speed of a driver; a braking force control ECU (braking force command preparation means) for preparing a braking force command based on the accelerator pedal operation of the driver; and a braking force control actuator (braking means) for generating braking force based on the braking force command prepared by the braking force control ECU. The braking force control ECU determines the size of the braking force command by pedal returning direction operation amount of the accelerator pedal operation amount and determines a gradient of the braking force command by returning direction speed of the accelerator pedal operation.
