Methods, apparatuses and system for queueing and moderating group talk

A method for a wireless device participating in group talk sessions in a wireless network. The wireless device is configured to perform talk order control of a group talk sessions. The wireless device receives during the group talk session requests for a transmit capability from other wireless devices which are relayed by a moderation message controller. A list of identifiers of the other wireless devices that have transmitted the requests for the transmit capability is provided to a user of the wireless device. on an ongoing basis during the group talk session, a record of the received requests that are outstanding is maintained. The wireless device transmits a message via the wireless network in order to grant one of the requests for the transmit capability.
