PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption by positioning of a GPS. SOLUTION: A positioning device measures a temperature and brightness as an external environment thereof, and performs the positioning of the GPS when there constant or larger amounts of changes in these external environmental elements, thereby acquiring positional information with a high probability accordingly when positioning is performed, and minimizing an opportunity of performing positioning.
