PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a hard coat film excellent in abrasion resistance and flexural properties. SOLUTION: This method for producing the hard coat film comprises the steps of applying a UV-curable coating (a) which gives a cured coat having≥80% elongation measured according to JIS K 5400 on a film substrate (C), curing the coat by UV irradiation to form a cured coat (A), applying a UV-curable coating (b) which gives a cured coat having≥4H pencil scratch hardness measured according to JIS K 5400 hand scratch method on the cured coat (A) and curing the coat by UV irradiation to form a cured coat (B).
