<p>The system (1) has a seating element (14) arranged above a bowl (3). A movable cover (2) is brought into a cleaning position in which the cover forms a closed internal space (17) with the bowl. The seating element is located in the space. A nozzle element (9a) is attached to an inner side of the cover, where the inner side faces the space. The seating element is cleaned with cleaning liquid and/or water using the nozzle element. The seating element and the bowl are designed such that the liquid between an edge (16) of the bowl and the seating element flows into interior of the bowl.</p>
