PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily update a list in a wrong transmission doing prevention function in which FAX numbers are collated with the list. SOLUTION: A collation section 14 collates a transmission destination FAX number inputted from a FAX device 2 with FAX numbers registered in a transmission available list, and if the transmission destination FAX number is registered in the transmission available list, a calling section 12 calls the transmission destination FAX number. Thus, wrong transmission of FAX can be prevented. In addition, a registration section 13 extracts FAX numbers from calling and incoming FAX communications and registers them into the transmission available list, so that a FAX number is extracted from FAX communication and registered into the transmission available list for every calling and incoming FAX communication and the list can be easily updated.
