PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector member with superb high-frequency characteristics. SOLUTION: Two signal contacts 130 equipped with adjacent second signal contact parts 135 constitute one of the contact pairs 140. As seen from a rear end side of the connector member, second signal contact parts 135 of the even-numbered contact pair 140Ebelong to a first column 142, and second signal contact parts 135 of the odd-numbered contact pair 140Obelong to a second column 144. An interference inhibiting part 151 of a grounding member 150 is provided between the second signal contact parts 135 of the even-numbered contact pair 140Eand the second signal contact parts 135 of the odd-numbered contact pair 140O, whereby, interference of the even-numbered contact pair 140Ewith the odd-numbered contact pair 140Ois prevented.
