PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network management system for effectively collecting and recording actual numerical performance information which is obtained from an SNMP agent device in an SNMP manager device through an SNMP. SOLUTION: In the network management system, the SNMP manager device 110 includes a function of sending an SNMP request (SNMP request packet 131) for obtaining a specific MIB to the SNMP agent device 120, and the SNMP agent device 120 includes the function of returning an SNMP answer (SNMP answer packet 132) to the SNMP manager device 110, the SNMP answer being obtained by making a real value obtained as an answer value of the specific MIB, based on system information collected by the SNMP agent device 120, into an integer by multiplying it by, for example, a preliminarily defined multiple of 10. The SNMP agent manager device 110 further includes the function of converting and recording, upon receipt of the SNMP answer, the answer value of the specific MIB as the real value by dividing it by, for example, a preliminarily defined multiple of 10.
