<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To necessarily and sufficiently reduce a voltage drop in a circuit itself, by easily specifying an operation state of a plurality of kinds of safety circuits of an elevator. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A safety circuit monitoring device 8 confirms a signal of a plurality of safety sub-chains electrically separated in accordance with the operation detecting function in the elevator, and displays a message of indicating the fact of artificially cutting off the safety circuit on a safety circuit state display device 18 when an electric current is not carried to any of various artificial operation safety circuits when not carrying an electric current of a signal of at least one safety sub-chain, and displays a message of indicating the effect of opening a door on the safety circuit state display device 18 when an electric current is not carried to any of a hall safety circuit 10, a car safety circuit 11 and an emergency rescue door safety circuit 19, and when an electric current is not carried to a hoistway safety circuit 12, a message of indicating abnormality of an operation state of the elevator is displayed on the safety circuit state display device 18.
