摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide oxidation catalysts which can display excellent oxidation performance. <P>SOLUTION: An oxidation catalyst 1 includes at least a first catalyst 10 containing iron, cerium and lanthanum and a second catalyst 20 (excluding the first catalyst) containing iron and cerium. The ratio [M<SB>2</SB>/(M<SB>1</SB>+M<SB>2</SB>)] of the mass (M<SB>2</SB>) of the second catalyst 20 to the total mass (M<SB>1</SB>+M<SB>2</SB>) of the first catalyst 10 and the second catalyst 20, is not less than 0.4 and less than 1.0. Another oxidation catalyst 1 includes at least the first catalyst 10 containing iron, cerium and lanthanum and the second catalyst 20 (excluding the first catalyst) containing iron and cerium. The ratio [M<SB>2</SB>/(M<SB>1</SB>+M<SB>2</SB>)] of the mass (M<SB>2</SB>) of the second catalyst 20 to the total mass (M<SB>1</SB>+M<SB>2</SB>) of the first catalyst 10 and the second catalyst 20, is not less than 0.4 and less than 0.8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
