PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing an existing pile, which is used for the simple and efficient removal of the unnecessary existing pile embedded in the ground. SOLUTION: This apparatus for removing the existing pile includes: a hydraulic unit which supplies hydraulic pressure; an auger 3 which rotates a shaft by a rotary drive mechanism; a hydraulic swivel 4 which is installed around the shaft, and transfers the hydraulic pressure supplied from the hydraulic unit; a casing 5 which is connected to the shaft, and excavates the periphery of the pile 12 buried in the ground; a cutter 8 which is connected to a lower part of the casing 5, and moved inward from the rotation-direction rear of the casing 5, so as to cut the pile 12; a cutter driving part 7 which has a spiral spline mechanism for controlling the protrusion and receding of the cutter 8; a control unit which controls the cutter driving part 7 by the hydraulic pressure transferred from the hydraulic swivel 4, on the basis of input for controlling the protrusion and receding of the cutter 8; and a monitoring device 10 which outputs information corresponding to protrusion and receding positions of the cutter 8.
