A vortex heat exchanger of rotary furnace has arc-like segments with changing shape that are mounted with gap and form with respect to the axis of furnace several concentric circles, installed in supports in length of the furnace. The segments are lined with refractory material. At least one support standpipe of segment is arranged as sliding support.
