摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor cooling mechanism capable of suppressing an increase in load of a controller and a rotational power source for vehicle travel driving. <P>SOLUTION: An electric motor cooling mechanism 18 is so driven that a heat-sensitive swelling liquid 36 thermally swells within a liquid housing part 34d by heating from the oil accumulated at the bottom of a transaxle case, thereby causing the entire temperature change drive part 34 to mechanically engage with a clutch 22. So, even if a high temperature region arises for insufficient scraping of oil of a differential ring gear 8, an oil pump 30 functions with no increase in load of a controller, and discharges the oil from the upper part of an electric motor through a cooling oil path 30a to cool the electric motor. Since the electric motor cooling mechanism 18 distributes a rotational force of the electric motor to the oil pump 30 in the hot temperature region as a pump driving force, the oil pump 30 is not always in the normal driving state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
