<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner discharge device preventing clogging of waste toner on a toner discharge path, and also to provide an image forming apparatus with the toner discharge device. <P>SOLUTION: The toner discharge device discharges the toner removed from the surface of an image carrier 17 by a cleaning device 22 equipped with a cleaning member 3. The toner discharge device is provided with: a toner conveyance path 36 which supplies the waste toner removed by the cleaning member 3; a conveyance means 37 for conveying the waste toner on the toner conveyance path 36; the toner discharge path 38 which has an exit arranged in a position shifted diagonally downward to a discharge port 41 of the toner conveyance path 36; and a removing means 39 for guiding toner to be dropped downward in the perpendicular direction or toner dropped downward in the perpendicular direction and attached to the toner discharge path 38, to the exit of the toner discharge path 38 to be discharged outside the toner discharge path, between the discharge port 41 of the toner conveyance path 36 and the toner discharge path 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
