PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow reverse rotation, in a scraper equipped with a chain transmission of a notch-drive pin driving system. SOLUTION: A link constituting a chain includes a notch on the opposite side of a drive wheel, and a space opened at least to the opposite side of the drive wheel is formed between the plate parts 38 of the link to allow access to a barrel. The drive wheel 4 is equipped with the drive pins 62 spaced apart from each other in the pitch of the link and the teeth part (sprocket part) 60A. The drive pin 62 of the drive wheel 4 is engaged with the notch 50 of the chain 8 on the first engaging face 50-1 in the case of normal rotation, the teeth part 60A is engaged with the barrel 44 on the first edge 60A-1 and the chain 8 is driven by both of the engagement to the drive pin with the notch and the engagement of the tooth part with the barrel. The drive pin 62 is engaged with the notch 50 of the chain 8 on the first engaging face 50-1 in the case of reverse rotation, and the chain is driven by the single engagement of the drive pin with the notch.
