PURPOSE: A device for outputting the transfer speed of a material in the final stand of an intermediate rolling mill is provided to measure the accurate material transfer speed by measuring a material transfer speed from the rotation speed of a rolling roll in the final stand of an intermediate rolling mill and then outputting the measured speed to a material size measurement device. CONSTITUTION: A device for outputting the transfer speed of a material in the final stand of an intermediate rolling mill comprises a rotation speed sensing unit(30), a transfer speed calculating unit(40), and a signal output unit(50). The rotation speed sensing unit detects the rotation speed of a rolling roll(12) installed in the final stand. The transfer speed calculating unit calculates the transfer speed of a material passing through the rolling roll using the rotation speed input by the rotation speed sensing unit. The signal output unit converts the input transfer speed into a predetermined signal to be outputted.
