PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation dust collection method in a converter for sucking waste gas around the furnace nose of the converter and collecting dust by a dry-type dust-collector, with which bumping phenomenon in a vessel accommodating a bag-filter can be prevented. SOLUTION: In the ventilation dust collection method in the converter for sucking the waste gas around the furnace nose of the converter 1 and collecting the dust by the dry-type dust-collector, a bag filter 8 is used as the dry-type dust collector, this bag-filter has a back-washing type or a pulse-jet type dust removing function, and during the period of molten iron charging from a molten iron ladle 2 into the converter 1, the dust removing function of the bag filter 8 is stopped. Further, in the middle of a dust collection duct 6 from the furnace nose in the converter to the dust-collector, a water-spraying device 22 is arranged, and it is preferable that water is sprayed to the gas in the dust collection duct from the water spraying device 22.
