PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment for a vehicle for detecting the error of the location information of a vehicle which is not accompanied by any abnormal movement within a relatively short distance. SOLUTION: The location of another vehicle included in a transmission frame to be specified by a request frame and the location of a self-vehicle which has received the transmission frame and a direction where the transmission frame has arrived are read (S305), and whether an angle made by a straight line connecting the receiving location of the self-vehicle and the location of the other vehicle and the direction where the transmission frame has arrived is larger than a predetermined set value is determined (S308), and when it is larger than the set value (S308: YES), the "location false statement" flag of a response frame is defined as "1", and the response frame is transmitted to another peripheral vehicle by broadcast communication (S309).
