<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic imaging apparatus for improving visualization in displaying a mammogram image by removing the influence of noise even when the noise, etc., exists in a direct ray area. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The radiographic imaging apparatus includes: a breast imaging part for irradiating a subject with a radiation from a radiation source, detecting the radiation transmitted through the subject by a radiation detector, and acquiring digital image data; a boundary information detecting part for processing the digital image data and obtaining boundary information between the direct ray area and a mammogram area; a blackening area setting part for setting an area extending to the opposite side of the mammogram area as a blackening area, based on the boundary information; a blackening part for blackening the pixel of the blackening area among the digital image data, so as to perform an output; and a display part for displaying an output image from the blackening part.
