<p>PURPOSE: A method for controlling an oxygen generator for a vehicle is provided to prevent condensed water from being generated through an oxygen discharge part due to the temperature difference between the inside and the outside of a vehicle in the operation of an oxygen generator. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling an oxygen generator for a vehicle is as follows. External humidity is sensed(S120). Oxygen is continuously generated, if the external humidity is lower than 60%(S130, S135). Oxygen generators are turned on/off, if the external humidity is 60% or higher and lower than 80%(S140, S145). The oxygen generators are turned off, if the external humidity is higher than 80%(S150). In case the external humidity is 60% or higher and lower than 70%, the turn-on time is determined in a range of 1-5minutes and the turn-off time is determined to 5 minutes. In case the external humidity is 70% or higher and lower than 80%, the turn-on time is determined to about 1 minute and the turn-off time is determined to 5 minutes.</p> |
