SKIN COVERING SHEET TO BE IMPREGNATED WITH COSMETIC, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SHEET AND FACE MASK OBTAINED BY USING THE SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin covering sheet to be impregnated with a cosmetic, which sheet has moderate elasticity in a wetted state and to provide a face mask obtained by using the skin covering sheet. SOLUTION: A method for producing the skin covering sheet (1) comprises the steps of: piling a fiber containing thermoplastic elastomer on one surface of a short fiber layer (3) consisting of a short fiber having 0.5-20 mm fiber length, forming a nonwoven fabric (2) and sticking the short fiber layer to the nonwoven fabric by the fiber containing thermoplastic elastomer to form a laminate (4); arranging a fibrous web containing ≥20 mass% cellulose fiber on at least one surface of the laminate and subjecting the fibrous web-arranged laminate to hydroentangling treatment to form a cellulose fiber layer (5) and integrate the laminate with the cellulose fiber layer.
