PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means to improve makeup durability in use under severe conditions in the skin care preparation of an emulsion dosage form containing a metal oxide composite which may have been surface-treated. SOLUTION: The skin care preparation of an emulsion dosage form comprising a metal oxide composite which may have been surface-treated contains an anionic surface active agent and a polyglycerin fatty acid ester as surface active agents and the total amount of the surface active agents is 0.01-3 mass%. It is preferred that the metal oxide composite compound is the one obtained by compounding a metal oxide and at least one selected from the group consisting of a carboxylic acid represented by formula (1), a derivative of the carboxylic acid, polymerized product of the carboxylic acid, and a polymerized product of the derivative of the carboxylic acid.
