A diversity receiving method for digital mobile broadcasting and a digital mobile broadcasting receiver are provided to minimize the unnecessary power consumption by adapting the number of the channels processed in a receiver according to the channel state. First and second antennas(300,302) receives the signals of first and second channels, and first and second modules(310,320) process the signals of the first and second channels. If the bit error rates of the first and second channels are lower than the first threshold value in a first mode, a control module(350) switches the first mode into the second mode. The first and second modules are active in the first mode, and one of the first and second modules are inactive in the second mode. |
