PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer which is excellent in property of preventing light leakage while satisfying optical characteristics and durability, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition forming the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.

SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition contains a (meth)acrylic ester copolymer (A) obtained by copolymerizing a (meth)acrylic ester and a reactive group-containing monomer so that the percentage of the reactive group-containing monomer (constitutional unit derived from the monomer) in the copolymer is 0.01-15 mass%, a polyrotaxane (B) having at least two cyclic molecules, and a crosslinking agent (C), wherein the equivalent ratio of a reactive group in the crosslinking agent (C) to the reactive group in the (meth)acrylic ester copolymer (A) is 0.001-2 and the equivalent ratio of the reactive group in the crosslinking agent (C) to a reactive group in the polyrotaxane (B) is 0.1-5.
