PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a man conveyor capable of preventing, in a simple constitution, the unnecessary stopping of the man conveyor when instantaneous power failure is caused. SOLUTION: This control device for the man conveyor includes a power receiving power source for supplying electric power, a motor for driving operation of the man conveyor by the electric power from the power receiving power source, a motor control means for controlling the rotational operation of the motor, and a power receiving power source monitoring device for outputting a power source abnormal signal to the motor control means when detecting the abnormality of electric power supply of the power receiving power source, and is provided so that the motor control means controls the rotational operation of the motor so as to stop the operation of the man conveyor when receiving the power source abnormal signal, and further includes an abnormal mask device between the power receiving power source monitoring device and the motor control means, for not transmitting this power source abnormal signal to the motor control means by masking the signal for a predetermined specific time after receiving input of the power source abnormal signal.
