Provided are a machine component, particularly, a bearing component such as a rolling element or a bearing ring, which has no machined mark in a crossing-angle pattern, a rolling bearing using same, and a super-finishing method which enables machining in which the machined mark in the crossing-angle pattern is not generated. The method is for super-finishing an object to be machined (8) that is a machine component serving as a rolling element or a bearing ring. The surface to be machined (4b) of a rotating elastic grindstone (4) is formed in the shape corresponding to the surface to be machined (8a) of the object to be machined (8). While the object to be machined (8) is being rotated, the rotating elastic grindstone (4) is pressed against the surface to be machined (8a) of the object to be machined (8) from the end thereof. The elastic grindstone (4) is moved in the machining trajectory in which the surface to be machined (4b) with the shape corresponding to the surface of the object to be machined of the elastic grindstone (4) is along the surface to be machined (8a) of the object to be machined (8). The machined surface (8a) of the machined object (8) thus super-finished is a smooth surface with no machined mark in the crossing-angle pattern. |
