PURPOSE: An intake system of an internal combustion engine is provided to achieve firm coupling by wedging between the lateral sides of a clamp band and the end of an intake pipe. CONSTITUTION: An intake system of an internal combustion engine comprises an intake pipe, an intake port, and a clamp(100). The clamp comprises a band, a coupler, and a fastening ring. Two ends of the band are separated so that the diameter of the band decreases by reducing the distance between the two ends. The coupler opens or closes the two ends of the band. The fastening ring is arranged in the radially inner side of the band. A end(301) of the intake pipe and the fastening ring are arranged in contact with each other between the band and the intake port(201). As the distance between the two ends of the band decreases, the fastening ring is pressed on the end of the intake pipe so as to compress the intake port inward.
