<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect refrigerant leakage, including specification of whether or not the refrigerant leakage is caused from a place such as a refrigerant circuit of a refrigerating unit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This refrigerant leakage detecting device 8 has a sensor 11 and a terminal side coil 88. The sensor 11 has a sensor body 81 of changing in capacitance when adsorption of fluid caused by the refrigerant leakage of the refrigerant circuit 10 acts, a sensor side coil 82 and a casing 83 for covering the sensor body 81 and the sensor side coil 82. The terminal side coil 88 is connected to a power circuit 86 and a receiving circuit 87, and electric power is supplied to the sensor 11 from the power circuit 86 by electromagnetic coupling with the sensor side coil 82, and information on the refrigerant leakage of the refrigerant circuit 10 is obtained by the receiving circuit 87 from the sensor 11.
