PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double locking connector by which the strength of temporary locking and final locking of a retainer can be increased and the attaching workability of the retainer is improved while being capable of narrowing a pitch of a contact housing cavity. SOLUTION: At a housing 10 of the double locking connector 1, a first space 41 between contact housing cavities 15 in the upper and lower two rows, and a retainer attaching hole 40 communicated with the first space 41, having a second space 42 to cross the contact housing cavities 15 in the upper and lower two rows and opened in the side face of the housing 10 are installed. The retainer 30 is equipped with a locking arm 35 having a locking protrusion 36, and a temporary locking arm 37 having a temporary locking protrusion 38.
