<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To project a uniform image at a plurality of counters or stores with little labor at a low cost while ensuring the advertisement display effect. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The projector includes: an image data memory part 30 for storing image data; an image producing part 5 to be driven according to the image data stored in the image data memory part 30; a projection part 6 for projecting an image obtained by drive of the image producing part 5; a power switch part 7; and an image reproduction control part 2 for reading out the image data from the image data memory part 30 for reproduction of the image accompanying switching on of the power switch, and for terminating reproduction of the image accompanying switching off of the power switch.
