<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of suppressing deterioration of operability in elliptic input keys. Ž<P>SOLUTION: As for a cursor key 20, its exposed face is formed in a long elliptic shape in a longitudinal direction of an exterior case. As for four contacts 31a to 31d of a switch means 30, two long axis side contacts 31a, 31c are arranged so as to be mutually separated from the center axis Lo by a prescribed distance in the longitudinal direction of an exposed face 21, and other two short axis side contacts 31b, 31d are arranged so as to be mutually separated from the center axis Lo by a shorter distance than the prescribed distance in the short-axis direction orthogonal to the long-axis direction. Moreover, as for four contact patterns 32a to 32d, contact faces of both short-axis side contact patterns 32b, 32d are formed without sides separated from the center axis Lo against contact faces of both long-axis side contact patterns 32a, 32c.
