PURPOSE: A system and a method for managing private certificate and a recording medium therefor are provided to provide an authentication agency service based on a private certificate, thereby creating separate commission profit. CONSTITUTION: If a client who uses a web service which needs a client authentication request a issue of the private certificate, a information checking unit receives client information and web service membership information from a server which provides a web service and checks client ledger including the received client information. If the client ledger is checked, a information generating unit generates private certificates information to be issued to the client.
