<p>A paper sheet processing device is provided with an advancing section (11) for advancing, on a sheet-by-sheet basis, paper sheets inserted therein; an upper conveying path (10) for conveying paper sheets; an identifying section (13) located in the upper conveying path (10) and identifying the attribute of paper sheets; a temporarily holding section (15) for receiving and advancing paper sheets; attribute-based containing sections (22a-23d) for containing paper sheets in such a manner that the paper sheets are classified by specific attributes and dispensing the paper sheets; a dispensing section (12) for allowing paper sheets conveyed thereto to be stacked therein; a memory section (41) for memorizing conditions of the paper sheets in the temporarily holding section (15) on how the paper sheets are being contained therein; an operating section (33) which is a transaction input means for inputting the contents of a transaction; and an upper unit control section (30) and a lower unit control section (40) which are control sections for performing control so that paper sheets are advanced from the advancing section (11) on the basis of an order for the most recent transaction, said order being inputted from the transaction input means, and causing the paper sheets to be contained in the temporarily holding section (15) such that the paper sheets are contained in a different condition from paper sheets contained in the temporarily holding section (15) before the most recent transaction is performed.</p> |
