<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structurally simple filter for a street inlet, which is easily attached to/detached from even the small diameter street inlet etc. made of a synthetic resin, and which stably covers only an outflow port of the street inlet without being displaced from a predetermined position after attachment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This filter for the street inlet consists of: first and second positioning means for performing positioning in the street inlet, which are made of an arc-shaped and rod-shaped member with a central angle of 180° or more; a filter body which is directly or indirectly supported by the first and second positioning means so as to cover only the outflow port from inside between the first and second positioning means; a lifting means which is connected between two opposed points of the first positioning means so as to prevent the excessive deformation of the filter body and facilitate attachment to/detachment from the street inlet; and a means for stopping the turning of the filter body, which recedes from a surface of the filter when undergoing a reaction force from an inner wall surface of the street inlet, and which protrudes in other cases.
