<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muscle protein enhancer which enhances the muscle protein to maintain or recover good muscle by taking notice of the muscle tissue in preventing decubitus and improving its condition since bedridden patients are increasing with an increase of the elderly in recent years and, in conjunction therewith, the decubitus becomes an issue of public concern. <P>SOLUTION: The muscle protein enhancer has a phospholipid containing not less than 15 mass% docosahexaenoic acid in the constituting fatty acids as an active ingredient.
