<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure stable swing and hydraulic operation even if an electric storage device cannot be used. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid shovel drives a generator motor 2 and a hydraulic pump 3 by using an engine 1 as a power source, charges a battery (electric storage device) 11 by the generating capacity of the generator motor 2, and drives a slewing motor 8 by the generator motor 2 and the battery 11. In the hybrid shovel, a voltage sensor 14 detects a direct-current bus voltage, and a failure detecting means 15 detects whether or not the battery (electric storage device) 11 is unusable. When the battery is put into an unusable state, emergency evacuation control for keeping the electric power consumption of the slewing motor at the generated output of the generator motor 2 or below is performed while the direct-current bus voltage is kept at a normal operation voltage of a system or higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
