PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for driving/conveying pigs capable of reducing stress to the pigs as much as possible and improving meat quality and work efficiency. SOLUTION: This method for driving/conveying the pigs is provided by constituting a conveying device 1 by an inducing conveyer device 2 arranged as inclined in elevating direction, an abdominal carrying conveyer device 3 arranged in the conveying direction of the inducing conveyer device 2, inclined in the elevating direction through a step difference having a prescribed interval and prescribed height and constituted mainly by an abdominal carrying conveyer for conveying the pigs in a crawled state, and a transfer conveyer device 4 consisting of a left and right pair of conveyers arranged as striding a side surface part between the inducing conveyer device 2 and abdominal carrying conveyer device 3, conveying the pig on the inducing conveyer device 2 to the abdominal carrying conveyer device 3 while blocking the back of the pig, after transferring the leg parts of the pig on the transfer conveyer device 4, changing the progressing direction of the transfer conveyer device 4 in descending direction at the beginning end of the abdominal carrying conveyer device 3, loading the pig on the abdominal carrying conveyer device 3 as the crawling state and conveying the pig to an electric shock-working place.
