PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive charger for a portable electronic apparatus that eliminates plural types of adaptor jacks and allows simple connection operation when charging. SOLUTION: A charger for a portable electronic apparatus is used for charging portable electronic apparatus such as a cellular phone, a portable game machine, and a digital camera. The charger comprises a charger body 21 with a built-in secondary battery, a solar-cell panel 22 provided on the charger body 21 so as to charge the secondary battery, and a charging unit 24 provided to the charger body 21. The charging unit 24 is provided with an AC connector socket 27 connected with a connector of an AC adaptor, a USB connector socket 28 connected with a connector of a USB cable, and a plurality of connectors 32, 34 for portable electronic apparatuses connected with connector sockets of plural types of portable electronic apparatuses.
