<p>Provided is a reconfigurable integrated circuit having a plurality of programmable wiring switches formed by nonvolatile storage elements for setting a wiring state between basic tiles of a basic circuit element. The reconfigurable integrated circuit includes a plurality of nonvolatile storage elements constituting a multiplexer type programmable wiring switch having a plurality of input terminals and output terminals. A nonvolatile storage element of the field effect transistor structure having a switch function is arranged on a propagation path of a signal voltage from the input terminals to the output terminals. A control circuit is arranged to constitutes a multiplexer type programmable wiring switch for the nonvolatile storage element to selectively transmit the signal voltage from the input terminals to the output terminals. The control circuit directly performs a write-in operation for storing line connection information to set a conductive state or a nonconductive state for the nonvolatile storage element, a delete operation for deleting the line connection information, and a read-out operation for confirming the conductive state or the nonconductive state for the nonvolatile storage element.</p> |
