A method for assessing the efficacy of treating the hypertension provides for analyzing the spectral characteristics of microvascular blood flow and the central and peripheral components of the vegetative regulation prior to and after the therapy. The decrease of the contribution of spectral components characterizing the state of the sympathetic activity, the peripheral vascular spasm and the absence of the venous insufficiency indicate the efficacy of the treatment.
