<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the correspondence range of spectrum data unknown in analysis value without impairing information on trace components. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for processing measurement data of a biological spectrum is a preprocessing to be performed with respect to near-infrared spectrum data unknown in analysis value when a target biological component concentration is quantitated based on the near-infrared spectrum data obtained by measuring the near-infrared spectrum of a living body and on a calibration model. In the method, the correction of a change in terms of addition and multiplication, which occurs in the near-infrared spectrum data unknown in analysis value and is used for calculating the biological component concentration is applied to the data set of the near-infrared spectrum unknown in analysis value independently of the data set of the near-infrared spectrum used for generating the calibration model.
