PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering device capable of correcting any neutrality deviation without turning a steering unit even with no hands attached in detecting neutrality deviation when a gear ratio variable system is started. SOLUTION: The vehicular steering device comprises a steering lock mechanism 6 which makes a steering wheel 10 inoperable in a locked state and permits the steering wheel operable in an unlocked state, a neutrality deviation determination unit 331 to detect neutrality deviation between front wheels 11a, 11b and the steering wheel 10, and a neutrality deviation correcting and control means to drive-control a front wheel steering actuator 5 so as to eliminate neutrality deviation after the steering lock mechanism 6 is in a locked state if any neutrality deviation is detected when an ignition is ON.
